Humidity Indicator Card 30-50 %

In the range of 30 to 50 % relative humidity, the humidity indicator window enables reliable monitoring. The windows are used in closed packaging and barrier layer systems without having to open the products. It can be read from the outside. To do this, the window is first unscrewed, the base is fixed to the packaging and then the indicator window is closed again. In this way, the moisture indicator remains permanently visible while the inside of the packaging remains protected.

As a quality control and assurance tool, the moisture indicator card provides information on whether critical moisture values have been exceeded, so that measures such as replacing desicants can be taken.

The indicator paper in the window has a reactive layer that changes colour from blue to violet to pink-pink as the humidity rises. The reversible colour change enables repeated use for humidity monitoring.
