The standard among industrial desiccant bags: Our CertiDry desiccant bags in accordance with DIN 55473 are a well-proven inbox desiccant solution. They reliably protect goods inside a barrier layer envelope in the shipping packaging against moisture, mould and corrosion - both during transport and long-term storage. Using natural dry clay as an adsorbent, they remove moisture from the ambient air and help to protect sensitive products of various kinds from damage. According to DIN 55473, one desiccant unit (DU) corresponds to the amount of desiccant that adsorbs at least 6.0 g of water vapour in equilibrium with air at 23 °C (± 2 °C) and 40 % relative humidity.

Available in two versions - CertiDry type A with a low-dust envelope and CertiDry type B with a dust-tight membrane for minimised dust leakage - they can be flexibly adapted to different packaging requirements. From a size of 16 DU, the bags are also equipped with a hanging strap, which enables optimum positioning within the packaging. This keeps the desiccant free in the air so that there is no direct contact with the base of the packaging. This ensures even air circulation and efficient moisture absorption over the entire surface of the bag.
