BoxDryy® high-performance desiccant for inbox use

The BoxDryy® inbox desiccant combines high absorption performance with easy handling and sustainable packaging solutions. The desiccant bag is placed directly into boxes, crates or other shipping packaging - without any additional wrapping or film packaging for the goods to be protected. This not only saves material, but also labour time in the packaging process.

Inside the BoxDryy® bags, a particularly efficient magnesium chloride active granulate ensures that the moisture absorption capacity is significantly higher than that of standard desiccants. The absorbed moisture is bound by the salt-starch mixture inside the desiccant bag to form a solid, leak-proof mass. The top of the bag is equipped with a water vapour-permeable Tyvek® membrane for this purpose, while the back forms a moisture-impermeable barrier layer.

BoxDryy® is available in five different bag sizes from 5 g to 100 g. The inbox desiccant can therefore be used in larger packaging units or with high ambient humidity and a long-term storage period. This means that the moisture protection can be flexibly adapted to individual logistical requirements and packaging volumes - from small shipments to large-volume export packaging. Applications include a wide range of sensitive products - including electronics, pharmaceutical products, metallic components, textiles and leather goods.

The desiccant can not only be used in industrial areas, the use of BoxDryy® is also safe for indirect contact with food. The InBox desiccant is therefore also suitable for use in food-related packaging solutions to protect such products from moisture damage.

After use, the bag can be disposed of with commercial waste or, in the private sector, with residual waste.
