A ThoMar customer approached our consultants with the problem of preventing leaks in the dispatch of doping samples. We are now pleased to present the result of this product development in the ThoMar online shop, the LiquiDry liquids absorber.
The new product, which is manufactured at the ThoMar desiccant plant in Lütau in Schleswig-Holstein, is available in three different bag sizes. The liquid absorber absorbs aqueous liquids in a very short time and converts them into a gel within a few seconds. The bag is made of water-soluble paper that dissolves on contact with the liquid. The absorbent it contains can absorb many times its own weight in liquid and thus prevents liquids such as blood or urine from escaping.
This solution is suitable for sensitive applications in the medical, pharmaceutical and hygiene industries, among others, where safe pick-up and handling of liquids is required.
